WhiteBoard (Module)
Description:
Allows students and teachers working on the same whiteboard. students may work in groups and in course.
Requirements:
Moodle 1.8.2, Flash Media Server
Installation instructions:
1. Upload “whiteboard” folder to your moodle/mod directory.
2. Go to http://your_moodle_site.com/admin – all necessary tables will be created
3. Add line to config.php file in moodle root directory
$CFG->fms = ‘YourFmsLink’; // or your own fms server
Options:
none.
Instructions on how to use:
1. Go to Course page and click “Turn editing on” button
2. Select “White board” from the activity menu.

I followed the instructions above to integrate whiteboard with moodle. It worked fine. But I am unable to do things on the whiteboard. I dont know wat link to specify for the FMS server link. Please help me out.

Try to write: 69.36.10.120 in module settings ( http://yourmoodlesite.com/admin/module.php?module=whiteboard )
It is our test FMS server. Should work.

This module worked well for me on my test 1.9.1 server using your FMS server. Is there a way for this module to use an open source fms server like this:

I am asking since we are a small school and do not have the resources to purchase Adobe’s server. Thank you.

i tried using whiteboard on my moodle 1.9.3 (windows) I have installed adobe flash media server..
i configure $CFG->fms = ‘69.36.11.115′;
but its not working..
i am not getting module settings page.Please help.

I installed my whiteboard module and it works but after I draw a shape on whiteboard write on the whitebord my writings will disappear
what’s the problem?
